“The Lord is Near”
(M. Joncas)
"Wild Honey and the Locusts was such a breath of fresh air to our concert series. (Their) versatility and variety made for a great afternoon of music making with something for everyone. They struck a great blend of old and new, familiar and unfamiliar. . . . Cheri and the band immediately established a great relationship with the audience and made everyone feel at home and part of the experience, like they were jamming in our living rooms."

“A ‘Must-See-and-Hear’ group! You will come away wondering how one musical ensemble could possibly squeeze that much music and showmanship into 1.5 hours. The next day you will awake with this stylish group still performing in your head.”

“The performers are filled with energy, and obviously love what they do . . . great arrangements. Even if persons are not attracted to the spiritual quality of the selections, they would want to be at their concerts for the excellence of the music.”
Jeanne R.
“A classy, professional ensemble. . . . I enthusiastically recommend many return engagements . . . you can feel their spirit.”

The 8-piece combo features three female vocalists in close harmony, a Louis-Armstrong-style trumpet, and full rhythm section. The broad stylistic range of the group can be in part attributed to the age range within the group.
With an expanse of repertoire, a Wild Honey concert can be tailored either to an audience of church-goers or to a more religiously diverse crowd.
Always the focus is on the universal themes of hope and unity, the human condition, acceptance, and compassion. (Wild Honey never preaches nor proselytizes!) Below are some representative song titles and musical styles:
